Kristin and Conor got engaged at The Knob in Falmouth, MA. They wanted their engagement session at the same location so we made the trip. This hidden gem on Cape Cod was an amazing treat to visit! On the evening we visited the light was ideal, weather fabulous, and the scenery absolutely breathtaking! This was my first visit but certainly not the last. I absolutely loved our Knob Cape Cod engagement session!
I knew that Kristin and Conor were looking for a good mix of fun portraiture and some more artistic images. We had a chance to do all of that! The Knob offered green paths, beaches, open vistas with flowing grass. It is truly a dream location! This couple was so trusting of my visions, which really made it fun. They were willing to crawl up on a rock that may have had little barnacles on it, and look happy while walking on a slightly rocky beach (ouch!) for the sake of gorgeous photos. These are my people! I cannot wait to work with them again next summer!
Check out studio favorites from our session below. I cannot decide which location is my favorite! Although the path with grass on both sides surrounded by ocean is pretty unique and spectacular!
This image has been in my head for a while. I saw a painting that inspired this lighting and editing style. It wasn’t quite sunset yet when this image was taken. An assistant had a light off-camera with two grids to control the light. I love the mood of the final portrait! A nice compliment to the rest of the collection that Kristin and Conor ended up with!
The last two images were taken as we headed back to the parking lot. I wanted one more shot down the long paths that led to the beach.
I cannot wait for the next Knob Cape Cod engagement session! And, of course, for Kristin and Conor’s wedding next summer!
