Natural wedding portrait photography is all of the beauty and formality of wedding photos past, with a little bit more personality peppered in. I want you to have fun, enjoy the moment, and show me a little of who you are! Portraits throughout the day are “lightly” posed, and it is within that pose that I ask couples to laugh or get closer, or close gaps between them. I will ask families to put their arms around each other, or hold hands. Using points of connection between people creates intimate, natural portraits.
Time set aside for just the couple is so important. It’s something that is all worked out well in advance of the wedding day. Portraits happen before or after the ceremony, and are often split up to capture different locations or events such as sunset or twilight. Wherever we are, I look for beautiful colors, sun-kissed pools of light, and dramatic contrast. It’s one of my favorite things on the wedding day!
The balance of portraits and moments is a choice that is yours. Every clients balance is unique, and I love photographing all of it! {moments portfolio}
Portraits carry incredible weight after the wedding day. From that moment, and as time marches on, they will only increase in value to you and your family. I would love to create those images for you! {contact the studio}
