and Dave"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Lexi and Dave&#8217;s wedding was held at the Chequessett Yacht and Country Club in Wellfleet, MA &#8211; a location I am very familiar with and one of my favorite all time wedding venues. \u00a0Personal touches were everywhere, created by the bride and her friends and family. \u00a0I loved that even with some unexpected events\u00a0(high tide and high winds were a bit of a surprise when we arrived at the beach, and a forgetful rental company left us without a Huppah) this couple rolled with it and the day was just as they had planned &#8211; beautifully intimate, fun, and \u00a0filled with the joy of their closest friends.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2541\" src=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/archive\/2015\/07\/06-2534-post\/Glas2015-110.jpg\" alt=\"Glas2015-110\" width=\"765\" height=\"511\" \/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2536\" src=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/archive\/2015\/07\/06-2534-post\/Glas2015-018.jpg\" alt=\"Glas2015-018\" width=\"765\" height=\"511\" \/>We planned on a first look at the Penny House in Eastham, MA. \u00a0The grounds there were so bright from mid-day sun, but we had an hour for portraits before going to the beach. \u00a0 After our engagement session this winter I had earned Lexi and Dave&#8217;s trust so they didn&#8217;t hesitate when I asked them to move pretty much into this really fantastic tree on the grounds. \u00a0Softened the light and gave some really wonderful\u00a0opportunities to play with depth and composition.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2538\" src=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/archive\/2015\/07\/06-2534-post\/Glas2015-091.jpg\" alt=\"Glas2015-091\" width=\"765\" height=\"511\" \/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2539\" src=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/archive\/2015\/07\/06-2534-post\/Glas2015-094.jpg\" alt=\"Glas2015-094\" width=\"765\" height=\"511\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Then it was off to the Yacht Club! \u00a0These are just a few of the details I mentioned before. \u00a0So beautifully done!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2540\" src=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/archive\/2015\/07\/06-2534-post\/Glas2015-101.jpg\" alt=\"Glas2015-101\" width=\"765\" height=\"765\" \/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter alt=\"Glas2015-353\" width=\"765\" height=\"511\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In the image you can see below the makeshift Huppah that the coordinators at CYCC created. \u00a0They really did come through in a pinch! \u00a0Four paddles, fishing line and a crisp white tablecloth did the trick. \u00a0Add in four loved family members to do the honors of holding it to make sure our newly-created sail didn&#8217;t blow away and we were ready for the ceremony.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2549\" src=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/archive\/2015\/07\/06-2534-post\/Glas2015-386.jpg\" alt=\"Glas2015-386\" width=\"765\" height=\"571\" \/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter height=\"511\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Lexi and Dave took a private moment down the beach after the ceremony. \u00a0On their way back I was observing them, she grabbed his arm, he did a fist-pump, and I shot this image which is one of my favorites of the day. \u00a0So authentic and beautiful.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2535\" src=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/archive\/2015\/07\/06-2534-post\/DSC_4880.jpg\" alt=\"DSC_4880\" width=\"765\" height=\"511\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2553\" src=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/archive\/2015\/07\/06-2534-post\/Glas2015-529.jpg\" alt=\"Glas2015-529\" width=\"765\" height=\"511\" \/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" wanted a collection that wan&#8217;t filled with all typical images, I knew they were open to something a little different. \u00a0One look at these clouds and I knew this was the right couple to take a little artistic license. \u00a0I really love the result and can&#8217;t wait to hear what they think of it!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2555\" src=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/archive\/2015\/07\/06-2534-post\/Glas2015-533.jpg\" alt=\"Glas2015-533\" width=\"765\" height=\"511\" \/>The reception was casual and fun &#8211; complete with a food truck dinner! \u00a0Guests wandered in and out of the boathouse and onto the sand where there were two food trucks waiting &#8211; the Chubby Chickpea and the Bacon truck.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2556\" src=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/archive\/2015\/07\/06-2534-post\/Glas2015-578.jpg\" alt=\"Glas2015-578\" width=\"765\"
