High School senior photo sessions are centered around getting the perfect yearbook photo. Yearbook photos are vertical (tall vs wide) and color, and often there are a few rules each school has enacted. While I love a hobby image included in senior sessions, it really is important to get a classic image of the student that they love. Photographing from an angle that is at eye-level or higher is ideal. A small depth of field is used to create separation between the subject and the background, creating a portrait that is aesthetically beautiful.
For your high school senior portrait session, make sure you tell your photographer what your favorite features are (can you tell this student has amazing eyes?) and they will be able to create an image you love.
