Colonel Blackinton Inn Wedding

The moment that rings are exchanged is an amazing one to capture. The couples attention is one hundred percent on each other, expressions are authentic and excited. The ceremony here was under a tent and places to stand were limited. I had a few minutes before the ceremony to scope things out and decided the ring exchange would be gorgeous if I photographed through some of the greenery. Blocked by guests view, with a long lens, I captured this moment. Ring half on, mid-vows, and that incredibly sweet expression on the brides face. I love that her son is in the bottom right corner, looking on, and the family friend who was performing the ceremony is in the frame but not the focus of it. Black and white processing of the image eliminated the green color that was distracting, instead creating a soft bokeh and incredible depth to the moment.

A Colonel Blackinton Inn wedding is amazing for intimate groups. Their courtyard, where this ceremony took place, is between the main inn and the carriage house. It has gorgeous greenery, florals, and a great outdoor seating area, with rustic historic details throughout.. This tent is also there, with enough room for a ceremony or small seated reception. For intimate weddings in Attleboro, definitely check out the Blackinton Inn!

Location: Colonel Blackinton Inn, Attleboro MA.
