This couple exchanged traditional Jewish wedding vows underneath a Huppah at their waterfront wedding ceremony in Bristol, Rhode Island. The Herreshoff Maritime Museum has several locations for a gorgeous wedding ceremony but this one was right on the main dock, large enough for the whole guest list! Extremely bright sun was falling on the guests, but thankfully this huppah created soft shade so I could capture the couple in flattering light. The wind was strong that day and the fabric moving around, so I wanted and took several versions of this image, intentionally including the version that had some of the heirloom huppah fabric included in the frame. The fresh air and sea breeze is one of the many reasons why couples fall in love with the idea of a Herreshoof Maritime Museum wedding so including it in the images was important.
